Wir gestalten grünliberale Politik
Gemeinsam für eine nachhaltige und zukunftsorientierte Schweiz.
Mit offenen Strukturen entwickeln wir die grünliberale Bewegung stetig weiter und machen die Schweiz fit für die Zukunft. Wir arbeiten in Teams mit flachen Hierarchien. Als leitende Gremien führen Geschäftsleitung und Präsidium die Tagesgeschäfte. Die zehnköpfige Bundeshausfraktion bringt unsere Politik ins Bundeshaus. Der breit aufgestellte Vorstand trifft wichtige strategische Entscheidungen. Unser Generalsekretariat ist für die politische und administrative Geschäftsführung der Partei zuständig.

Die Grünliberale Partei wurde 2004 im Kanton Zürich gegründet. Zum allerersten Mal verband eine Partei in der Schweiz Ökologie und Ökonomie. Innerhalb eines Jahres traten rund 300 Mitglieder bei. Ziel der neuen Partei war und ist es, das Nachhaltigkeitsdreieck Umwelt, Soziales und Wirtschaft im Gleichgewicht zu halten und dabei einen ökologischen Kern mit liberalem Handeln zu vereinen.
2006 trat die GLP erstmals mit eigenen Listen zu Wahlen an, in den Städten Winterthur, Uster und Opfikon holte sie je zwei Sitze in den Gemeindeparlamenten. Bei den Kantonsratswahlen im April 2007 konnte die GLP ausserdem auf Anhieb mit zehn Sitzen in den Zürcher Kantonsrat einziehen.
